Dr. Todd Ponsky introduces the seminar covering complexities in the management of Tracheal Esophageal Fistula (TEF). Points of interest will include discussion around the "unsalvageable esophagus" and diagnosis of TEF. Dr. Michael Rutter, Pediatric Otolaryngologist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, introduced the panel members and begins the event with a case-based discussion on tracheal esophageal fistulas (aspiration). Dr. Rutter presents many esophageal fistula cases for interactive discussion amongst panel members. The session is closed with a discussion of the unsalvageable esophagus and tracheal pouches.
