Live: Innovations in the Management of Pectus Deformities 2015

Join the multidisciplinary team from the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital
Pectus Program as they discuss holistic and innovative approaches to the
management of pectus deformities including preoperative assessment and
imaging, advances in operative techniques for both primary and redo or
complex cases of pectus excavatum in both pediatric and adult patients,
management of complications, postoperative pain management, and
enhancing the overall patient/family experience. The symposium will be
broadcast live to a virtual audience from Cincinnati, OH. This 4 hour
symposium is designed to give an update on the management of pectus
deformities in both children and adults through case based presentations
and faculty discussion and debate. An expert, multidisciplinary panel
dedicated to the care of patients with pectus deformities will include
pediatric and adult surgeons, radiologists, cardiologists, geneticists,
anesthesiology pain team, advanced nurse practitioners, and a
patient/family who has undergone the procedure. Audience and faculty
engagement and interaction is encouraged through live chat, polling
questions, and phone in question and answers sessions throughout the
show.
