In this session, Dr. Karen Burns discusses the unique aspects of pediatric care delivery model in oncology. Topics discussed include epidemiology, early initiation of chemotherapy, risk-adapted therapy, new era of therapies (including immunotherapy and targeted therapy to specific cancer cell), survivor rate and the American Society of Surgical Oncology (ASCO) consensus statement.
